Group conditions


In order to ensure your visit is as safe and comfortable as possible, the Museo del Prado makes the following visitor guidelines available.

Groups of between 9 and 20 participants (except educational groups, which may include up to 30 participants), including the guide, teacher, or designated responsible person.

Required booking and purchase of tickets in advance.

The maximum duration of the group visit is 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Groups are required to have a guide, except for private visit from 9 am to 10 am.

The maximum number of members for a group visit to the temporary exhibitions located in Jerónimos is 15 people, including a guide or teacher.

Groups can visit the Museo del Prado’s Collection with their own guide or professor, with the required booking and purchase of tickets in advance.

Advance purchase of tickets for the visit from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. will be made with a minimum of 72 hours
